Essential functions:
Develop first patterns using samples while working closely with Designers. Interpret sketches in patterns and measuring garments before fitting. Finalize sewing instructions and construction of garments. Work closely with coordinators to finalize external trims and sketch of garment. Release final garments to spec department to review construction and trim.

Accounting Manager - Merchandise Inventory (New York, New York)
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent required. 5-7 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years manufacturing accounting experience required. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Solid understanding of standard versus actual cost structure. Experience in retail operations and apparel manufacturing preferred.
Essential functions:
Responsible for the financial accounting and control over inventory including cost accounting for the manufacturing process and retail finished goods inventory. Responsible for the monthly close process including analyzing standard cost variances. Analyze and provide visibility to raw material liability through a monthly aging analysis and ad hoc reporting. Create decision support tools to analyze production costs and charge variances to appropriate departments. Provide monthly gross margin analysis including analysis of key variances. Oversees the physical inventory process for both raw materials and finished goods. Key Finance department liaison to the Distribution Center, Production, Planning and Store Operations.
